Damian Lillard may not be traded by the Portland Trail Blazers to the Miami Heat by the time training camp rolls around.

The Portland Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard may be ready for Lillard to begin training camp, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski told NBA Today.
The relevant excerpts begin at about the 1:15 mark of the video.
This is an organization that is fully prepared, and I think Damian Lillard is probably also prepared for the possibility, that this training camp could start with him in camp.
And then if you’re the Blazers you wait and see what happens in the first 20, 25 games of the season to figure out what direction those teams are going.
Lillard’s trade request came in on July 1 and he remains adamant that his first, and only, destination of choice is the Miami Heat. However, the Blazers and Heat have yet to reach an agreement that would give Lillard and Miami and the Blazers enough compensation for the star guard.
