Stefanos Tsitsipas’ first love is tennis, the sport he was first introduced to in 2001 by his parents, Apostolos and Julia. The Greek star has enjoyed a special ride in tennis since then.
The 25-year-old woman sat down with ATP Uncovered to explain her own love letter to the sport.
“What feels so special to you is that I feel part of my own playground, where there are no rules, no limits,” Tsitsipas said of his first days on court.
He also reflected on the moment he decided to commit to tennis as his main focus and his progress on the ATP Tour, starting with a lesson-filled loss to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Rotterdam in 2017.
