  • Days later, Trump was indicted in Georgia on racketeering and other charges.

Someone took photos of former President Donald Trump when he was hanging out at his Bedminster golf club days before his impeachment in Georgia, and it’s something.

The snapshots show Trump looking angry at LIV Golf Bedminister Tournament, nearly a week before he was indicted for trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia. The tournament was held in Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, from August 11 to 13.

Off the course, Trump maintains a steady stream of posts on his social media platform, Truth Social. He wrote several posts on August 9 expressed his grievances about his many accusations, while insisting that the charges against him were politically motivated.

“Remember, these Indictments are not “Legit,” they were all thrown at me, quickly and relentlessly, including local ones, by my political opponent, Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump wrote on August 9.

Trump now faces a full docket of charges and investigations. The Georgia case is his fifth indictment, and the fourth criminal charge he has faced. At the latest count, he faces 91 felony charges across the indictments, with the Georgia case the most likely to land him in prison.

The Georgia indictment also brings charges against 18 defendants besides Trump — including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, attorney and known conspiracy theorist Sidney Powell, and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows.

A spokesperson for Trump did not respond to specific questions from Insider about whether Trump was nervous about the indictment, and asked why one would judge “someone’s mood based on stock images.”
