The Phoenix Suns unveiled their new on-court designs Thursday night on social media alongside a new sunburst uniform for the 2023-24 season and last season’s black statement uniform with PHX across the chest.
The center court has a sunburst logo or PHX. The Suns will play their home opener Oct. 28 against Utah at the Footprint Center.
The Suns creative team designed the court, which has a black baseline with a purple/black gradient sideline that goes with either jersey. Last month, Phoenix unveiled the new Nike Icon and Association uniforms.
“The sunburst is an iconic design that is one of the most popular among Suns fans; it represents some of the most important moments in our team’s history,” Suns CEO Josh Bartelstein said in a release on news. “These new uniforms seamlessly blend the nostalgia of the past with the excitement of the future as we embark on the next great season of Suns basketball.”
The Suns will open the 2023-24 season on October 24 at Golden State on opening night in the NBA. They followed that up on October 26 with the Lakers in Los Angeles before their home opener against the Jazz.
“The members of the Ring of Honor have played an important role in making the history of the organization and it is important that we honor them in a way that will always be shown,” Suns team owner Mat Ishbia said in a release on news last month.

“These legends have helped define the Suns and are integral members of our family, connecting all generations of our fans for the past 55 years,” continued Ishbia. and how they pave the way for the next era of Suns basketball.
The team will unveil new permanent banners and murals for the ‘Ring of Honor’ at halftime of the home opener. Shawn Marion and Amar’e Stoudemire are scheduled to attend as they are the newest inductees.
