Harry Redknapp makes North London Derby prediction as Arsenal face Tottenham’s biggest threat

Harry Redknapp believes Tottenham are confident they can beat Arsenal in this weekend’s North London Derby. Mikel Arteta welcomes the Lilywhites to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon in what is expected to be a blockbuster clash.

The Gunners lead the tie on the back of a composed 1-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park at the weekend, extending their unbeaten start to the Premier League season. Spurs will also feel invincible after they scored two goals in stoppage time against Sheffield United to continue their rich run of form under Ange Postecoglou.

The North London Derby never fails to impress and Redknapp is looking forward to seeing how James Maddison fares. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder has proved to be a fantastic addition to Tottenham after joining from Leicester City in the summer.

“It will be a good game, at the weekend,” said the former Spurs boss talkSPORTas quoted by HITC. “Both teams are in good form. Tottenham have done well. Maddison, what a signing for that money. What a great player.

“A fantastic talent. Tottenham look strong. So, I think they will go to Arsenal on Sunday and feel that they will get something from the game. It will be a big London derby between two good teams.”

Son Heung-min is also looking forward to the North London Derby, insisting the Gunners are scared to face Spurs this term. In an interview with The Timesthe South Korean international said: “[Arsenal] don’t want to face us this time.
