Emma Raducanu has ended her trip to China and suggested that she is looking forward to returning to the country later this year. Raducanu, who has been sidelined since May after three surgeries, recently decided to visit China.

In China, Raducanu enjoyed some quality time but he also used his time there to train and practice. “Goodbye beautiful China, see you in the second half of the year (heart emoji),” Raducanu wrote on Weibo. Here are all the images from the China trip that Raducanu posted on his Weibo account.

Raducanu visited China for the first time in 2019

Raducanu’s feeling of connection to China should not be surprising since his mother Reene is from Shenyang.

In a recent interview with Porsche-Tennis, Raducanu opened up about visiting China for the first time since 2019. “I really like it here in China. I’ve spent three weeks here every summer since before I can remember and coming back here feels so comforting,” Raducanu told Porsche-Tennis.

When in China, Raducanu absolutely loves spending time in his mother’s hometown. “Shenyang, my mom’s hometown, to visit most of my family, and re-immerse myself in the culture. We pride ourselves on food in Shenyang.

It’s one of the best and something I grew up with and loved,” said Raducanu. In China, Raducanu also talked about idolizing Li Na as a child. “Li Na was a huge inspiration growing up, I loved watching her strong mentality and athletic footwork,” Raducanu said.

On the other hand, Raducanu will return to China later this year to compete in the MGM Macau Tennis Masters scheduled to take place between December 02-03. “There’s a greater connection with the local community. Emma’s [Raducanu] His Chinese roots and his extraordinary rise to stardom by winning the US Open made him a global sensation, while Wu Yibing’s historic achievement as the first Chinese national to win an ATP tournament raised his position in world tennis,” Luiz Carvalho, a senior vice-president of the IMG sports group, said in a statement in July.
