Ben Chilwell’s latest injury is expected to keep him out for weeks if not months, with Mauricio Pochettino practically delivering an elegy for our left back hamstring – which is, in fact, in the same leg which kept him out for several months last season, and also caused him to miss the World Cup.
Can we call Diego Costa to see if he is available any horse placenta remaining?
âI don’t think this is good news. The doctor told me it was not a good thing. It’s a bad injury but we have to check in the next few days and we’ll see when he’s out of the squad and the team. But I think the injury is bad. It was in the last minute of the game. Yes, we are truly saddened by Ben’s news. [We] he needs to be assessed and for sure, the club will talk [for how long heâll be out].â
“[Same leg,] yes, i think so. [But] it was fresh [injury]. He only played 20 minutes against Aston Villa. I think this is the mechanism of action because he was pulled on his back when he had the ball, I think he was fouled and then he was a bit unlucky to get injured. Very disappointed, very sad because I thought he played very well. We’ve talked a lot about how to improve over the last few weeks. The news is not good and now we will lose a player for a while.
Reports before Pochettino’s press conference this morning expected a four-week absence, but the way Poch spoke here, I think we have to wait months.

Chukwuemeka made things happen as No.10 in the first two games of the season. And in the case of the latter, it helps to prevent any of them recent account of current against him.
And in bonus good news, Reece James is also getting close – although the actual full involvement won’t happen until after the next international break.
“Hopefully Carney and of course Noni, too, after his injury when he comes back from the national team. He has been preparing, working hard. Yes, hopefully these two players will be available for the selection of monday
“[Reece James:] It’s not Monday I don’t believe. Maybe next week – we’ll see. We also need to check on him, but I can’t confirm at the moment.

With Nicolas Jackson and Malo Gusto also missing through suspension, Pochettino will have to be more creative with his line-up for Monday’s clash against friendly neighbors Fulham at Craven Cottage.
