Murray said: “It was very disappointing for me in Tokyo 2021 because before the start of the tournament I got injured and decided to do doubles first. We almost won a medal, I remember we were ahead by one set and one break in the quarterfinals. , but we didn’t take advantage of it.” Murray won two consecutive gold medals in Olympic competition.

The first was in 2012 in the home edition, when Murray won in London against Swiss master Roger Federer with a score of 6-2 6-1 6-4.
