A few days after Carlos Alcaraz and Venus Williams played pickleball in an event held at Lotte New York Palace, the Spaniard teamed up with Iga Swiatek for the US Open Kids Day held at Arthur Ashe. Noting how quickly Carlitos moved on from their relationship, Venus Williams joked.
“I was able to take over quickly…!” Venus wrote on Instagram. Alcaraz replied: “@venuswilliams I thought we were in pickleball.” Here is a video of Venus Williams and Carlos Alcaraz playing pickleball.
Ons Jabeur, Andrey Rublev, Tommy Paul, and Holger Rune also showed off their pickleball skills at the pickleball event.
When it comes to pickleball, Venus Williams is no match. “Pickleball is growing and I’m happy to see people with any kind of racket in their hand,” Venus said in 2022. After she retires from tennis, we may see Venus start a career in pickleball .
