That is a real shame for West Ham. The dream of a double pivot of Amrabat and Edson Alvarez is very exciting while it lasts!

The Fiorentina ace would have been the absolute ideal summer signing for us. We all saw how good he was against us in the Europa Conference League final in June.

The 26-year-old is quick, athletic, strong and a good football passer. He is said to be available for around £21-25 million – an absolute bargain.

Unfortunately for us though Sofyan Amrabat will join Manchester United this summer rather than move to the London Stadium.
